Addisyn met her friend Eleanor at the park Thursday. They went for a stroll and then played on the swings and in the grass. Her mommy, Julie, and I were co-pregnant co-workers at SCHS.
I tried to get better pictures, but both girls were tired this afternoon. We'll try again next week.
Saturday, Addisyn went to the Wild Animal Park for the first time. She really enjoyed the water splash area where all the kids were getting wet (no pictures of that part--I was busy trying not to get as soaked as the kids!)
Here is a picture with Grammy Joyce in front of a baby giraffe.
Saturday night, we went to her cousins' house and Addisyn was SQUEALING happiness from the trampoline. (All caps, to emphasize her
The picture is blurry because she was being bounced, but you can see how excited she is there!
Sunday, Marcy invited us and a couple of her friends over to visit and a play date for the little ones. This is important for us right now because we want Addisyn to have some positive experiences playing with other kids and to get used to being around other kids. Kyrstyn came over in the morning with her twins Kylee and Kaylyn, who are less than one month younger and we worked on the concept of sharing. After lunch, Jessie came with her sons Jake (pictured) and her 3month old baby Jaren. It's not that they really played together, but learning to be around other kids and not be territorial of the toys is important.
