On the road, we had improvised and tried to incorporate our trip into it as we were able.
To keep track of everyone's different schoolwork amidst having absolutely no sense of routine on our travels, we printed weekly checklists based on the assigned daily work and kept weekly folders of "do" and "done" for each kid. Mom would spot check the older kids and make sure things were turned in and done with quality. Addisyn had an intense work load but gained time management skills and personal responsibility. Piper was good about working through her tasks on her own, but needed some checking to make sure things were done to her best ability. Mom let Marissa make choices picking what to do next from her weekly checklist, but still had to walk her through each task individually.
We sent their "regular school" and "homeschool" teachers postcards and I wrote teachers my annual end of school year letter of gratitude.
School officially finished on June 20 and report cards came in the mail weeks later.
