This year for Halloween, we went to our old neighborhood and Trick-or-Treated with our friends there. Chris was bummed out to have missed it this year (he flew to Denver, CO that morning for an FPA board meeting). He figured it would be such a fun year at their ages, and it was. The girls were running from house to house yelling "let's go" or "next house!" in their excited little girl voices. They collected a pumpkin bucket-full of candy each and said they'd share with mom & dad ;-D. We had three Minnie Mouses, a kitty, the Hulk, Spiderman, and a few others. Piper is wearing the Minnie Mouse costume that Addisyn wore two years ago and I found Addisyn's in the Halloween box.
Jacob enjoyed it too. He got a ride in a little push car at the sidewalk, and would walk up to the house with the other kids. He enjoyed getting loot and at one point got upset at his daddy for taking the bucket away. There is a picture here of Jacob with a huge smile, showing off his candy to Addisyn.
Over the last 2-3 weeks, Addisyn and Piper have had fun rummaging through the orange Halloween storage bins, playing with the decorations, and costume pieces. They've been dressing up as cats all week too.
The girls were excited that baby Rainbow got a costume too. I was eager to wear the baby skeleton shirt/costume I ordered online--I got lots and lots of compliments on it!
We got to wear our costumes a couple times. We went to Addisyn's Trick-or-Treat Carnival at Fuerte Elementary on Saturday, and Piper's preschool parade at Foothills Preschool on Wednesday (Halloween morning).
Now time to go wash the skull tattoo off of Addisyn's cheek.

Some mighty fine mice you have. Funny they were cats during the week and mice for the big day.
I love baby rainbow's "look" too, but prefer my babies with a bit more flesh (*smile*).
love you,
