It frequently sounds like Abbu (the convenience store owner on The Simpsons), but I figured it out when she pointed to the fruit basket saying it the other morning.
2nd Video: Piper is the noisiest eater!
This was not a one-time or one-day thing; she frequently makes these gutteral/grunting sounds when she eats... and no, she's not trying to poop.
Piper now eats rice cereal, peas, sweet potatoes, banana, and apple sauce. What food should we try next?

I heard "apple" too! Very cute, she looks like she's a good helper feeding Piper.
