Toddling

Our precious one is toddling now. As of last weekend, she is officially WALKING, and she likes it too. It was cute to see the excitement on her face when she realized that she could go anywhere without holding on.

Because of her new skill, I was able to get some work done weeding in the front yard this week and let her wander on her own. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Addisyn really likes her mommy... She squatted down on the sidewalk and started picking "weeds"--there's a few random pieces of ivy on the sidewalk now, but it was so CUTE!

We also learned just how GREAT of a sleeper Addisyn is! This week Chris has been working on our built-in desk/closet conversion in the office. Each night after Addisyn goes night-night, her daddy starts banging away with the hammer, using drills and saws, and basically making lots of noise, and Addisyn did NOT wake up. Yay!
