This Mother's Day, the girls sang a special song with choir at both church services, and we had a little church family camaraderie time in between. Chris was home working on the house. Susan graciously offered to bring Grandma Ann to church for 2nd service to see the girls perform, and then we went out to lunch, dropping Marissa off at home for a nap while daddy finished installing the new whole house fan (thankfully just in time for this week's 100* heat wave). For lunch, Submarina was just right for us (close to Grandma's house, not crowded, not too fancy). The girls had a great time and it was a perfect day. 
I am thankful to have great mothers all around me--supportive, loving, and helping each other...there is no other way to do it.
