Marissa's bunny ears gave us a lot of attention, and gave smiles to others--
The egg hunt at church was wonderful, as usual. But good luck getting four kids to smile or even look at the camera at the same time!
The girls raced to get out of jammies so they could find the eggs the Easter bunny left at our house. They were very excited to see that he ate the carrots they left out on the patio table for him. They found all the eggs in just a few minutes--good hustle girls! Not stopping to shake or open each one kept them moving (and surprisingly, some of the eggs are still sitting in their basket a week later unopened).
It was fun watching Grandma Ann and Grandpa Sal with Marissa. Great Grandma Ann really knows how to make a baby laugh!
Grammy Susan wanted a picture with her 4 grands... she didn't have much better luck than we did at the church egg hunt.
Jacob! Loved seeing him pop his smiling face out of this little hiding spot on the patio.
To be festive, I made pretend carrots (discovered on facebook): Pillsbury crescent rolls rolled and wrapped around an ice cream cone to bake, then stuffed with egg salad, and topped with a sprig of dill for effect. [Prep can be done ahead, so the verdict is: I'd do it again.]
