Addisyn did all her own fund raising. We did coach her on asking for donations rather than "Will you give me money?" She really wanted to earn tickets to movie night and the smoothie party for getting a certain level of donations. Then, she counted all the money as math homework the night before.
She pledged to try an run 5 laps (she had been doing 4 during PE).
On the day of, they did group stretching, and had the music pumping for the 30 min run time.
Piper and I jogged with her for two laps, and Addisyn ended up having run NINE laps total! At 5 laps per mile, that was 1.8 miles. Impressive!
