Marissa's 1st Flight & Formal

We enjoyed taking Marissa for two firsts last weekend--first flight and first formal event.  Chris had an awards banquet for work, hosted in Phoenix, so we took her with us!  Addisyn and Piper had a sleepover with Grammy & Grampy, but at two and a half months, Marissa is too young to be away from mommy that long.   

She was great on the airplane.  Her eyes got big a few times with elevation change, but for take-offs and landings she was either sleeping or had a pacifier or boob.  She hardly cried at all and it was nice that she is small enough to lay across my lap in one arm for a nap. 






I did a little shopping last week and had fun playing dress up with my Marissa doll. She smiled for people, but doesn't know what the camera is.  Then her dress kept getting swept up with her arms so she would inadvertently suck on it instead of her fists. That's okay; I think this baby can do pretty much anything and I'd still think it is adorable! An evening dinner event, she slept in the stroller most of the time, and everyone was impressed with how good she was.
