SD Bay

We celebrated Father's Day Sunday (yes a week later) by taking the boat out on the water for the first time this year. We met some friends and enjoyed a day at the San Diego Bay.

We were nervous about how the girls would react to wearing life-jackets and being on the boat, but they both LOVED IT! They both had BIG smiles, watching the water and the wind in their faces.

After a couple hours playing in the water and on the beach, we cruised the bay and Piper conked-out while sitting on the seat next to me.

Each of the girls had a turn at driving the boat in daddy's lap, as we zig-zagged through the no-wake zone.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE of Piper running in the surf. It's my new computer desktop background.

I just had to include this picture of Piper patting Addisyn's bum. That's been "their thing" lately... Piper gives Addisyn "love pats", Addisyn turns and smiles, then turns back and they do it again, and the smiles turn into giggles relatively quickly.


And we actually got some pictures of Addisyn SMILING as she played in the water.
