hit, pinch, poop, vomit

Ouch! I had to tone down Addisyn's playtime this morning after I got hit in the head with toy lipstick and then bonked in the nose by a book. My eyes were watering from the pain. And it comes from the 8 month old too... even though my scabs are tiny, they are multiplicitous (did I make up a word or just misspell one?)...as Piper gets stronger, so do her pinching fingers. I am constantly trimming and filing her nails, but she still manages to pinch my arms, neck, and chin to where I have red scabs afterward. I thought motherhood was supposed to be emotionally, not physically, painful.


And on another note, lets talk about the dirty stuff mommies get to deal with! Addisyn pooped in the toilet for the first time last night! yay! But alas, she just didn't seem as excited about that as she was about pee-pee in there... and she opted to hide in the closet for a diaper poop today. We spend quite a bit of time sitting, grunting, and reading in the bathroom nowadays, but not officially potty training yet. At least I haven't had to clean the carpet yet.

Piper on the other hand makes more solid poops than Addisyn, but she's only giving me trouble from the top end. Since the nasty faces wern't doing the trick, she sent her food back to let me know she just isn't having it!!! Twice this week she upchucked. I've never seen a baby who isn't sick do that before. I don't blame her for rejecting the "chicken vegtable dinner" but she sent back "pasta dinner" too. Is she a picky eater?
