Our home seems quiet now that we re-homed our bunny Cali. 4 weeks to go...
Cali I'm sure is happier now to have a friend and a bigger place to play. The girls are sad to see Cali go, but happy that he will be well taken care of. (*Edited P.S. his new owner sent a picture about a year later and Cali looks healthier... we made the right choice)
I took Addisyn & Piper's troops to Girl Scout encampment at Indian Hills camp in Jamul. We stayed in the teepees, which kept out most of the (light) evening rain. Girls did stargazing, string art, human foosball, and much more. 3 weeks to go...
Chris took the motorhome in for checkup/maintenance so it's all ready for our trip--yay for a husband to makes things happen. 2 1/2 weeks to go...
He is also feeling the umbrella of stress coming down on him, and he's put off schoolwork, so we will have to make sure we support him when he has tons of schoolwork to do when we start our trip.
SPRING BREAK! 2 weeks to go... Yay! We can not worry about school and finally go clean the MH to get it ready! (totally thought it would have been clean a month ago, but life happened...)
Piper got her braces off! In the nick of time to get used to the retainer before we leave. 1 1/2 weeks to go...
Before & After:
Our friends had a going away pool party for us! 1 week to go...
Piper got to do the annual underwater egg hunt with her synchro team--glad I still have an underwater camera!
Easter
Motorhome prep-- Chris recalibrated the slide, put on new wipers, adjusted the hitch, and made campground reservations for next week. 3 days to go...
Early Anniversary pictures-- No sneak peaks... you have to wait for our anniversary to see them. 2 days to go...
Pack clothes and load bicycles-- The kids packed their own clothes and toys bags. They had one duffel bag for clothes, one backpack for toys (requirement was it must zip and save room for souvenirs), and one backpack for school. They were told to pack 2 weeks worth of clothes and that the weather would be mostly warm. I was either too busy or worn out so I didn't even actually check what they packed. Oh well, it is nice knowing that we will be camping near civilization if we need anything (which we did). 2 days to go...
Synchro swim meet-- 1 day to go...Piper's team routine song was from Nightmare before Christmas.
Date Night. Squeezing in one last night of freedom before we can't escape each other. <24 hours to go...
