This year Chris and I joined the group for their annual Valentines Jeeping weekend, the boys nicknamed DDD. This is the trip all the wives join the boys for roughing it.
We met at Kelly & Jen's house, synced our radios, and headed out in the daylight. We found some beautiful lookout points and then Jeeped into the dark while the experienced navigators looked for a suitable open space for camp. It was a windy night and the tent was blowing sideways. We packed a bucket and bags for a toilet. We cooked on a big grill Kelly made even bigger for sharing. In the morning we found a safe place to go shooting.
