SEVEN 7 SEVEN 7 SEVEN 7 SEVEN !!!!!!!
We've been parents for SEVEN years now! Wow! We made Addisyn feel special even though her birthday fell on the school's curriculum night (parent night) this year. Then she got to have a beach birthday party that weekend.
The first birthday celebration was wearing her birthday crown and sash out to dinner at BJ's the Sunday night prior. Then while she was sleeping the night before her birthday, I snuck in and decorated her room and bed to surprise her when she woke up. She liked it!
She got her hair done in a #7 shape and wore her sash to school. She got special jobs at school, along with her friend Holly who is in the same class and shares her birthday.
Then, while camping at Silver Strand over weekend, we hosted a beach party for her, which was fun because it was something new/different. She loved her party, and we were happy to be in the coolest place in San Diego during the heat wave that weekend!
Addisyn grew 2.5" and gained 6 pounds since her last birthday. At age 7, she now stands right at 4' tall and weighs 50.5 lbs. She lost a lot of teeth this year and is growing lots of adult teeth.
Addisyn is becoming more responsible, and still likes to do the right thing. She feels like school work is hard, but is conscientious about getting her HW done. She continues to become more sociable and makes friends. She is a picky eater and will say she doesn't like it before trying a new food. She gets easily frustrated with her sisters when she doesn't get her way, but is also very kind and helpful with them. Addisyn has always had a more serious demeanor about her, so we get a kick when we see her let loose and light up being silly at home.
