everyone together. So when my friend Natalie started her photography business just over one year ago, I told her I had been wanting to get a family portrait on our wall and I was waiting for Marissa to look like a little girl rather than just an infant. So this spring, we made it happen. We met Natalie one morning at Harry Griffith Park for a 2-hour session on April 27, 2014.
so we got a nice extended family portrait and some fun cousin pictures too. Jacob is 3 years old.
Natalie was well prepared, making nice with Jacob and even singing "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" to coax his cooperation. It was her lollipops that got the best reactions though.

"Karen did a wonderful job coordinating her troops, putting together colors that all worked together but weren’t too “matchy.” We also knew that this group needed to move- posing in group after group would not have worked for them for the entire session. We opted for a giant bubble session at the end, and we also pulled out the ever-popular lollipops for them to bring on more smiles (and perhaps some bribery)."
Marissa likes to look at the 24x30 canvas on the wall of our family, noticing each person, including the "baby" (herself).
My favorite is of the 4 cousins heads in a circle laying on the grass. I took a picture like this with cousins Kateyln and Justin when Addisyn and Piper were little.
I really like the print album she made us, and the metal prints, and the phone app too! She had everything so beautifully packaged for presentation.
