"WOW" All I want for Easter is my Two Front Teeth

Addisyn and Piper have been participating in choir at church and “WOW” Wednesdays our Way, which is like youth group for elementary age kids to learn about God and religious values. 

There have been multiple opportunities for them to sing in front of the whole church.  I am proud of them for being a part of it and being comfortable enough to stand in front of a crowd to perform. The pictures are never great inside the church from our seats in the loft, but this is a big part of their lives right now, so pictures are for my Documentation. Mrs. Carol Paton and Mrs. Brenda have done a great job.

The people running the WOW program are so wonderful; we are so lucky to be a part of this church community. Lisa is so friendly and a good communicator.  Sharon and Allie and all the others really love and care about our little ones.

I did have to give Sharon an extra special thank you after she helped Addisyn clean up after she got sick during second service on Palm Sunday.  Yup, that was my kid who puked down the church aisle and in the plants outside.

Sick Day...

Addisyn didn't look an ounce sick before church, but she laid on the couch for a 2-3 days. 

Marissa apparently was under the weather too for a day, but luckily for her (and me), she fought the worst of it off before it got her.

Meanwhile, Piper got to dye hard-boiled Easter eggs.  Addisyn did get to do a few before getting too tired again.

The EASTER bunny must have loved all the hard boiled eggs the girls dyed this year.  The kids left empty baskets out on the patio Saturday night and the Easter bunny filled them with bubbles and coloring books and jump ropes and just enough candy.  He hid their plastic eggs filled with candy and coins down in the play yard.  And hid the real eggs out front by the pond.  The girls were so kind about sharing and making sure Marissa had found enough eggs for her basket too.   Then after eating a few eggs worth of candy, we dumped them all out so they could buy candy for the next couple of weeks with their star tickets.

Bubble fun!  The looks of awe on Marissa's face are fun to watch. 

Our kids are much smaller than their cousins, which means they don't hang out together much, so I love seeing them during opportunities like this reading of grace before Easter dinner.

Notice Addisyn's smile is a bit empty? She fits in perfectly at school with many of her friends with their matching smiles. She lost both teeth in April, and the second top tooth just in time for our family pictures—it will be a nice symbol of her age for us to remember for years.
