Addiysn celebrated turning FIVE first with her friends at a "painting party" on the weekend, then with her family by going out to dinner at a restaurant on her actual birthday. She is proud to be a big 5 year old, and decided she could be dropped off and picked up at the traffic circle (which lasted all of two days). She is still loving kindergarten and will play "school" at home. Her writing is improving quickly and she wrote her own thank you cards after her birthday. Addisyn socially matured a lot the second-half of this year and is a lot more talkative and outgoing, but she still often will not wave in return when a friend waves at her. Addisyn brushes her own teeth, then dictates her "stories for good dreams" at night. She loves blowing rasberries, and is working on whistling and snapping her fingers. It is fun to watch her explain things when she talks because she uses her hands and is full of expression--she often puts her arm out to each side, palms up and kind of shrugs her shoulders with a slight head tilt. She measures 42.5" tall and is 39 lbs.
