Spring Break & Easter

Alas, my 2 week spring break vacation has come to a close. It was a fun two weeks and I kept busy by playing with my daughters, taking them to dance class, going to the gym, and doing some shopping.

I love teaching, but it's times like these that I miss my free time with the kids. We had fun rollerblading at Lake Murray with Auntie Marcy, and playing in the new bounce house 3 days in a row, 2 of them with cousin Justin.







Spring represents renewal of life and Easter the celebration of it, and we celebrated well.

The girls were excited with the loot the Easter Bunny left in baskets and eagerly found all their eggs in the backyard egg hunt. I had to "let" the girls empty all their eggs into a bowl and keep it "safe" (i.e. confiscate most of it) so they wouldn't get tummy aches from all the jelly beans, marshmallows, and chocolates. We had a busy and pleasant day balancing home activities, church, and family dinner at grandma & grandpa's house.
