Thursday, April 16. Happy Birthday Grammy Susan! We celebrated with dinner and time together on our patio outside with good air circulation and social distancing. Maybe we weren't a full 6' the whole time but we had avoided going out in public beforehand and washed our hands extra too. Addisyn baked from a boxed cake mix and made lumpy frosting because I refused to go to the store during quarantine for extra ingredients.
Monday, April 20. Grma Edgar 100th Birthday! We had previously made cards (and let sit in a bag for a week to de-germ), and Stacy delivered with an ice cream treat today. Then last minute we all came for a drive-by wave when Stacy and grandma were outside in the driveway. The girls all made signs and waved them out the windows as we approached her driveway. Since we saw other family members there, we stopped and hung out a bit from the curb, very socially distanced. It was very laid back and simple. Grandma seemed happy.
Tuesday, April 21. Annabelle's 3rd birthday! Since they moved back to San Diego, we had expected a big family celebration with her; instead Marcy hosted a bday Zoom, then we stopped by her front yard after quiet time (bc she doesn't nap every day anymore), but still no touching or hugging. She enjoyed the new-to-her skates we gifted her.
