Addisyn and Piper are excited to be pet parents. They each got a hamster to care for emotionally and financially on their own. They picked their Syrian hamsters at PetSmart in Santee bc they only sell females there and wanted a more docile personality and no worries about getting a hamster pregnant.
They have been researching (watching YouTube videos) on hamster care and the best type of habitats. They know that their hamsters are fully their own physical and financial responsibilities. Knowing that the hamster itself wasn't the pricey part, they counted their money and made sure they had enough for the cage, bedding, food, and miscellaneous.
Marissa is jealous and wishes she was old enough to get her own pet hamster too.
