After Marissa's birthday, we had a whirlwind weekend, with Chris' office holiday party, Grammy & Grampy took the girls overnight and to "The Bethlehem Story" at Faith Chapel (our new annual tradition), Karen's swim holiday tea party, and Piper playing bells at the church Christmas concert. So we got our tree Monday, Dec 10. It still feels funny strapping it to the top of a car rather than throwing it in the bed of the truck. The girls did a great job decorating the tree.
The Girl Scout troops celebrated the holidays. Piper hosted a party for the Social Etiquette badge. Addisyn's troop did a holiday version of New Cuisines and their annual wrapping party benefiting Crisis House. Marissa's troop had just done a Friendsgiving, so their December meeting was going to the Girl Scout hosted toy drive at the fire station.
We hosted family for Christmas Eve at our house and went to Mike & Katherine's on Christmas day afternoon.
aaahhhh!!!! Addisyn got a phone! (Chris upgraded and gave her his old one with a new phone #)
