Outside: we're making progress on the backyard again, although you wouldn't know it by looking back there! We had to pull dirt up and put it back in properly. Our contractor had to pull out even more dirt than we had laid in order to put in "steps" to prevent possible land-sliding.
This first picture shows how deep they had to go--holy cow that's a huge hole!
2nd picture: Addisyn had her first lesson in tractor driving today. The green machine with rollers in the background is the compactor they are using to put the dirt down tight and strong.
Hopefully our tractor people will be done with the dirt refill and compaction by the end of the week (cross your fingers--all of them!!!).
Inside: Our built-in desk is installed! Our friend Cooper and his dad custom built it based on our vision and we are very pleased with how it came out. They built it last week and put it in yesterday afternoon. I have to paint it and we need the carpet done under the desk, but I'm really excited about it. We will be putting our computer there and converting our office into Addisyn's new bedroom. Ring, Ring... Here is Addisyn, using the desk already :-)
