Chris got a Tesla! Our first electric car. He got the Model 3, the smaller and affordable one.
We had shopped for and test drove one earlier in the year (when Karen got "stuck" in the car as it parked "driverless" into the stall) at Fashion Valley Mall. Chris was pretty sure what he wanted when he sold his Infinity before the trip, but waited till we got home to get a new car. He ordered the one he wanted with the features and battery size he wanted about a month or so ago and got delivery on Sept 22.
The accelerator takes an adjustment to get used to with battery regeneration on because it slows down/brakes when you lift your foot off it, but easy to handle and drives quiet and smooth.
The kids like "rocket mode" and "Careoke" and the games...
