Piper Birthday Bowling - 7

What is Piper like at the age of 7?
Piper is strong.  Strong body and strong-willed.  She enjoys gymnastics and soccer, and before-school running club.   She doesn't let her sister take advantage of her just because she is younger-- they can actually BOTH be quite stubborn with each other.  She is slowly learning that it's better to listen to her parents the first time rather than continuing to do whatever she wants anyway and paying the consequence later.  It is awesome that Piper likes to try new things, loves school, reading, and Mrs. Semik, and gets along well with her friends.

Since our kitchen is still hollow, we scheduled Piper's birthday party elsewhere.  We had 4 lanes in the "cosmic bowling" party room at Parkway Bowl.  Kids enjoyed bowling with bumpers while the adults got to socialize behind the lanes.  All the guests signed a real bowling pin for Piper to keep and remember the event  by.

     -Weight: 52.5 lbs (grew 6.5 lbs)(55%ile)

Less than a week after her birthday, Piper lost one of her two loose teeth, and the other side came out later this month.  Those cross-eyes are so hilarious, Chris set the picture as the home-screen on his phone.

We used the free bowling coupons from Piper's birthday favors and enjoyed family time a couple weeks later.  I think we were able to satisfy Piper's interest in bowling so we can stop looking into a bowling league for her now.
